The "sign of the fish" or "Jesus fish" is the earliest symbol of Christianity. It was a secret symbol Christians used to identify each other or point the way to secret meeting places. It is still used today on cars and bumper stickers to identify Christians.
The dark wood is black walnut from Kentucky; the light wood is white maple from Indiana. The wood is steam bent to the proper curve then glued. Christian Fish is approximately 4 ½" by 1 ½" (114 X 38 mm) and has a clear natural finish
